Considering the system restore point(s) we might have on our operating
system, what is the effect of the windowsupdate's monthly malicious software
removal tool? Do the updates bypass the restore points? I've never seen this
discussed.
Or do I have a wrong concept of the tool?

Update, Windows Update, or Automatic Updates, you must accept ..."
Does this mean the windowsupdates take care of activating the tool? I've
never seen a tool to use. Since this was new to all of us when it first came
around (where we had to sign for the EULA), I'm not sure I ever okayed the
agreement, but probably did.
In other words, does the user activate the tool, or does WindowsUpdate?
And how are the system restore points affected?
