Restore points messed up -after SP1 update

I have an Acer portable (2GB ram) with Vista Business SP1.

I have noticed that ever since the SP1 update - the Restore points
facility is messed up. It takes ages to search for previous restore
points (3-4 minutes ?) I am sure it was quicker to respond before the
update.

I am not sure if this has anything to do with it

if so, how to fix the problem?

All I can say is, that's interesting. From my recent experience on two
machines, searching for previous restore points is much faster than it was
pre-SP1. Strange eh...?
