Hello All,
I am trying to restore a exchange server 2003 on windows 2003 server without
any service pack to a new hardware.
i am follwing this article
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;249694
I install the operating system and then i recover the system state back.
Doing this i am getting a blue screen.
Please let me know in case if i am missing something.

Hello Omkar,

Sounds that you are not using the same hardware and this results in a blue
screen.

Best regards

Hello Guys,
Thanks for Your reply,
I figured out it was because i was using windows 2003 server cd without
service pack level that was causing the blue screen on Restoring service
pack, which was a cause of kernel and hal.dll mismatch.
I was wondering if you have any article which will explore all possibilites
and ways to recovering from a hardware or catastrophic failure.

Thanks

Omkar
