Restored before a windows update

Hello: I had to restore my system today. It reverted to 8:21 p.m. on Jan. 14.
According to update history, three updates were loaded at 8:25 p.m. on Jan.
14.
Control panel\Windows update states updates were installed 12/21/08.
Did the restore negate those three updates?
If so, how can I get those reloaded?

32-bit operating system

Run Windows Update manually & install any Important updates offered.
