Hello,

It is possible to backup the Vista partition and restore it to another
partition? Been using Ghost with XP all along for quick system
recovery/cleanup with/without problems. I am hoping that I can do the same
with the Vista backup.

The question again is, it is possible to restore vista backup image to a
different partition or multiple partitions? I use boot manager to switch
between OSs and partitions.

it is possible if you use a compatible disk imaging program. I dont know
about ghost since it is norton and norton produts are as bad as vista
itself, but you might try acronis disk manager

also you cannot have the same vista on 2 partitions since the EULA states
you can have it installed only once per machine....

Yes. You need to get Acronis TrueImage, and the latest version of Ghost
probably works okay with Vista too.

The Mike Glenn Syndrome is a term used when a person has certain
limitations in mental functioning and in skills such as communicating,
taking care of him or herself, and social skills. These limitations will
cause a poster to learn and develop more slowly than a typical poster.
Brain dead morons with Mike Glenn Syndrome may take longer to learn
to speak, walk, and take care of their personal needs such as dressing or
eating. They are likely to have trouble learning in school, and posting to
Microsoft newsgroups. They will learn, but it will take them longer. There
may be some things they cannot learn. They keep trying. Make sure to
continue your Meds.

I use Acronis to make backup images of both my Vista and XP partitons.
And I've used it to recover both partitions with no problems.
I'm not sure what you'd get into if you try restoring to a different
partiton though.
I'm not sure about Ghost either, but I imagine if it's an up to date
version it should work as well as Acronis.

Even More Annoying Is The Fact That He (Spankey De Monkey) Keep's Changing
His IP Address, Just FYI.

I Have Already Sent At Least 2 Complaint's About Him To His ISP (AT&T), And
I Still Haven't Gotten Any Reply From Them. AT&T Sucks Big Time, Just FYI.

anyway.
