Retention on updates

Hi,

How do you set the retention for dowloaded updates? I am concerned my
server's HDD is going to get clogged and cause the server to crash. I would
think that I only need to keep updates for a month, as all my desktops and
servers will be online and have a chance to update in that timeframe.

My understanding is that none should be removed from Add/Remove.
But the below is a link to an MVP's web site and I know that there is
something in there on removing parts of updates/hot-fixes, for which he
wrote a prog.

You need to keep your security updates forever. Uninstalling them makes you
vulnerable again.
