Retracting an email that has not yet been delivered

I sent an email from my msn account to the wrong recipient. I received an
email today from the that the delivery of the
email is "delayed". I would very much like to retract this email before it is
delivered. How can I do that?

As far as I know it would be like dropping something off a building, not
much chance of stopping it until it gets to where it is going. Now if I am
wrong then please someone enlighten me because I too have done this in the
past.

Hi,

Actually internally with an Exchange server (say within a company) you can "take back" a
message, but that doesn't work on the public Internet sadly.
