Retrieving old mail

wondering if anyone can help? my boss is looking for an old email he sent a
while back, but when we upgraded his laptop and took all his old emails onto
the laptop via windows mail, it never brought in all the sent items and
therefore he couldnt find the one he was looking for.

does anyone know how to backdate further with windows live, or who i should
contact at msn to see if the email can be retrieved? thanks!

Do you still have the sent items folder (dbx file) from the previous installation? If so you can extract the messages from it to get the missing one. see www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/
