Hello,

Since a few weeks I have a Dell Axim X51 v running.
It runs with active sync 4.1 and Outlook 2003.

The problem is that the returning appointments are not syncronised.

Does anybody knows what this problem is?

Thanks

Steven

Steven,

Do other appointments sync correctly? Have you tried a soft reset?

Hello,

I made already a soft reset, a hard reset, a download from microsoft itself
with information to prepare Norton with its firewall, I upgraded the
software to 4.1 and even had a new Axim from Dell because on the old one
there was something with the hardware wrong.

Other appointments, contacts, etc are all sync correctly.
Only the returning appointments are not in sync.

Hi Steven,

Strange, could you try and perform the following task and check if it helps.

1. Connect your device and sync with Outlook.
2. Create a new Calendar (new folder) in Outlook.
3. Change the view of your old calendar to display only recurring
appointments. (Click View - > Arrange By -> Current View -> Recurring
Appointments.
4. Select all appointments (press Ctrl + A), drag the selection and move it
into the new folder. Basically removing all recurring appointments from the
default calendar.
5. This change should prompt ActiveSync to sync.
6. Once sync is done, move all the appointments back to the default Calendar
and allow ActiveSync to sync again.

If this doesn't help, do recurring appointments created on the Calendar sync
correctly to the desktop?

Hi,

Thanks for your help, but...

It does not works.

If I Switch my recurring appointments they do not sync from the desktop with
the PDA

If I make a recurring appointment on the PDA en I sync with the desktop
there is no problem.

Hi Steven,

* Any chance you have imported these appointments from another file?
* If you create a new recurring appointment in Outlook, does it synchronize
to your PDA?

Hello,

Here I am again.

I didn't imported these file's from another file.

I also made some hard resets and I created new recurring appointments.
In the beginning they were on the PDA and after a few days when I reshedulle
some appointments they disappear.
Other reshudelled appointments does not disappear.

The appointments who dissapear have a red label. The white labels stay on
the PDA.

I think it's a program fault of Windows Mobile 5
