Review your update history

Whenever I click on "Review your update history" I get the correct screen
for a fraction of a second, just long enough to recognize it, and then I get
an error page which says "The website has encountered a problem and cannot
display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might
help you solve the problem." On this error page there is an error number
which is 0x800A138F. I know that my updates and hotfixes are there because
I get a list of them when I run Belarc. I have been working with Microsoft
online to fix the problem with no success. Can anyone help me?

[Crosspost to IE General]

Please state your IE version and full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3;
Vista SP1).

Error message when you check for updates on the Windows Update site:
"0X800A138F: There are no updates available at this time":
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326253

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Hi Richard,

Sorry can not find any info on "The website has encountered a problem and
cannot display the page you are trying to view” + 0X800A138F = "Review your
update history" for a fraction of a second, just long enough to recognize it.

Other folks may have additional ideas for you.

Good luck
