1gig of memory is not very satisfactory for Vista. Hundreds of posters have
reported large gains by moving from 1 to 2 gig and the speed and bandwidth
have a large effect also. The speed of the processor, which you don't
report can also make a huge difference. Laptops also share memory for video
which makes more memory very important.
