Right-click on file

When I right click on a file name, one of the choices is "open with".
When I click on a picture file I get some choices that I don't want because they don't even handle that kind of file.

How do I removed programs that show up as an option when I right click on a file.

Hope I've explained that well enough so that some one will know what I mean.

I do not know of a way to remove a program from the "Open With" option.

to open the file extension. This way it will be in the "Open With".
