Why are many of the right click choices gone after SP1 update (Home
Premium)? All that remain are in Windows Explorer are::

Explore
Open
Share
Scan for threats
Send to
Cut
Copy
Create Shortcut
Delete
Properties
--------------------
On a different Vista SP1 Home Premium are all of the above PLUS:
Expand
Browse with IrfanView
CMD Prompt Here
CMD Prompt Here as an Administrator
CDCheck
7-Zip
Share
Add to archive
WinZip
Rename
New

Why are these missing?

Enable guest account or create a new account (user) and check if these
context menu items are present or not. If the new account works, move
your data (drag and drop) and settings (use migwiz) and just delete
your old account.
If the problem persists, wait for a better advice!

Good suggestion, thank you.

I did that...the new account behaves the same way.

Hi Don D,

This will show you how to add "Search" back to the context menu. See
the related links for some of the other items as well.

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/13...vista-sp1.html

Some of these will only be there when you press and hold "Shift" before
you right click.

You might also check to see if this is the problem to.

'Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers'

Hope this helps you,
Shawn
