right to left input in Live Mail

After a couple hours of frustration, I still have been unable to discover
how to change the keying direction in Live Mail so that the input is from
right to left. I use several languages, most left to right, but occasionally
I want to input Hebrew text. The letters appear, but there's no way I can
find to have a normal input with the punctuation in the right places. What
have I missed?

Assuming you've got the correct keyboards, there is a setting to tick to
enable right-to-left input. I've seen it while configuring other things, but
never needed it, so I never added it.

I no longer have a Windows Vista computer to check against. For Windows 7,
language support is not listed for the Home Premium, or Professional
versions; only for Ultimate.

I have the appropriate keyboard enabled and right to left input in
Windows 7 and use it in all programs that require such keying. I do NOT
have that capability in Live Mail. It's only in Live Mail that I cannot
write a normal letter in Hebrew. In Thunderbird there is no such
problem. There must be a setting in Live Mail to enable right to left
keying. I can type Hebrew letters, but it is in what we used to call
"push mode".

It's in Format | Paragraph. Why it's hidden there is anyone's guess.

Glad you found it. Sorry I wasn't more help. I would have thought the OS
option would be global. But who really knows what goes on inside the heads
of the "Gnomes of Redmond".
