Rights to rename a directory

Hell
I'm the only owner and user of my Vista home labto
A few month ago I've created a directory on the root of C:\

Now I'm trying to rename that director
But Vista tell me that I do not have the rigts to do i
Who have the rights ? GOD

What can I do to rename that directory

Hello Olibara

You may need to take ownership of the folder first before it will allo
you to rename it

Boot into safe mode and rename

Nope - higher than that. You must be Bill Gates to have that level of
privilege in a Windows system.

Seriously though, I suspect you created that folder with a different
account? Seeing as it's on the root, you may need to self elevate and change
the name from a command prompt, or first take ownership if it was created in
a different user account.
