ripping mp3 cd onto wmp

Hi, I have wmp 11 and recently purchaced an audio cd with sermons and such
that was transfered to this cd in mp3 format. I wish to sync it to my sansa
clip for listening "on the go", but can't rip this cd like a regular cd to
wmp. So I opened the files on the cd and transfered everything to my list to
the sync list and then tried to sync. It didn't work and threw the sync list
back into the main list with a red x to the left of every track. Is there a
way to get around this?
