ripping mp3's to a lower bit rate...

the older versions of media player would allow me to reduce file sizes when
syncing them to a mp3 player... the newest player on my windows 7 machine
doesnt have that option... any advice? i want to go dowm to 32 or 48 kbps

Maybe run them thru WM encoder 9 series,select the "convert audio/
video" option.
