I'm having to RMA an ASUS M2N-E motherboard. Am I correct in thinking I
should not have to reinstall Vista64 and programs provided I replace the
existing motherboard with the same make and model (provided the BIOS is
the same or more current available from ASUS)? Reason for the RMA has
nothing to do with BIOS or chipset problems (left rear speaker output
for HD audio is inop).

Thanks,
Fitz

ASUS M2N-E
AM2 5200+
4 GB Corsair XMS 6400C4
BFG 8800 GTS OC (640)
2X WD 36GB SATA Raptor (RAID 0)
Maxtor 160 GB IDE drive (storage)
LiteOn 20A1L DVD RW
Corsair HX620 power supply
Crystal Fontz 634 LCD
Antec P180 case

Hi Fitz,

Correct, there should be no reason to have to reinstall.
