Rollup 1 Win 2K Fails

Had a crash a couple of weeks ago, caused by an update gone awry. Got fixed
back to original system, but have been reluctant to apply updates until my
current critical project is over. Began having problems running my browser,
so decided to apply updates a few at a time. Started with Update Rollup 1
For Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 by itself. It fails to install, and there is
no information or code with it.

Others have found that there are some undocumented and unchecked
prerequisites that not everybody may have installed.
