Adding additional root certificates to your computer enables you to use
Extended Validation (EV) certificates in Internet Explorer 7, a greater
range of security enhanced Web browsing, encrypted e-mail, and security
enhanced code delivery.
If you're worried about installing this update, make sure you have an up to
date system restore point in place, or if you image your drive regularly
update it after you've done your backup.
As always it's your choice, I install these updates when they are available
and have no problems WinXP Pro SP3 IE7
