Root Certificates Update

A Root Certificates Update for IE was released today.

To install in WinXP SP2:

1. Go to http://windowsupdate/microsoft.com

2. Select CUSTOM install and scan

3. Click on Optional Sofware Updates in left-pane

4. Select Root Certificates Update

5. Return to the main Installation window

6. Select any critical updates offered (if any)

7. Install; follow all prompts.

To install in Vista:

1. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button, clicking All Programs,
and then clicking Windows Update.

2. In the left pane, click Check for updates.
