RSS feeds questions

I am using WLM 2009 - as I still used XP. I have a RSS feed for
facebook and I heard that they have stopped providing that service.
What are the ramifications of leaving that one in? Will WLM still get
all my other RSS feeds or stop at the facebook one? Also since WLM
displays an "updating feeds" message - does it show when the feeds
have all been updated?

A1. Active feeds will still be present and downloaded.
A2. Not directly, though in the lower right on the satus bar (when in Feeds
mode) and when performing a Send/Recieve then 'Updating Feeds' should
temporarily appear.

Hi Winston,

I had WLM saying "updating feeds" for close to 24 hours. shouldn't it
be less time? What is the best configuration for feeds?

Most likely a problem with one of your feeds. Test each one.

Best configuration ? For me, my preference is to setup feeds in IE, then
use Outlook to read them not WLM <g>

Fyi..all messages sent to this account's posting email address are
forwarded to a dummy Hotmail account, rarely read, and moved with a rule to
the web UI's deleted items folder and automatically purged by Hotmail.
(e.g. If message contains @, then delete). Save yourself some keystrokes
<g>.
