For those who are unfamiliar with the Rules of Conduct for the
Microsoft Newsgroups, here's your opportunity to learn the rules
of expected, acceptable, and mature behavior when posting.

Rules of conduct:

We hope that you find the time you spend in Microsoft's Community Web sites
to be useful and fun. To ensure that everyone has the best possible
experience, we've established a few guidelines. Please take a moment to read
them, and thank you for participating in a Microsoft Community.

Expectations of service:

Microsoft's Role:

Microsoft does not offer formal support for the
communities you'll find here. Instead, our role is to provide a platform for
people who want to take advantage of the global community of Microsoft
customers and product experts. Microsoft may monitor content to ensure the
accuracy of the information you'll find, but any information provided by
Microsoft staff is offered "AS IS" with no warranties, and no rights are
conferred. You assume all risk for your use.

Microsoft MVPs:

Microsoft MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals) volunteer
technical answers and expertise in many Microsoft Community Web sites.
Microsoft MVPs come from a wide range of backgrounds and professions. All
share a willingness to give their time, expertise, and advice to enhance the
technical skills of others. MVPs are not Microsoft employees and Microsoft
has no expectations of MVPs beyond the expectations of courtesy,
professionalism, and adherence to the Community rules that we ask of all
Microsoft community members. For more information on the MVP program and how
you can become an MVP, see http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/.

Rules of conduct:

Appropriate Language:

The purpose of our communities is to exchange
technical information and expertise about Microsoft products. Please avoid
personal attacks, slurs, and profanity in your interactions.

Relevance to Topics:

Please make sure that your postings in discussion
groups and chats are relevant to the subject at hand. It is normal for some
topics to drift from the stated subject. However, to ensure maximum benefit
for everyone, we encourage you to keep your postings as close to the subject
as possible.

Advertising/Solicitation:

These communities were created as a forum for
providing peer-to-peer assistance on Microsoft products and services. We ask
that you refrain from posting advertisements or solicitations that do not
pertain directly to the intended use and purpose of the newsgroup or chat.

Confidentiality:

Please keep in mind that our communities are public spaces,
so don't post anything that you don't want the world to see. Credit card
numbers, product keys, and other confidential information, including anything
covered under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), should not be posted to a
discussion group, chat, or other community.

You could eliminate 90% of the traffic in this NG by enforcing this
particular rule.

One problem: it can't be enforced and only applies to Microsoft's web
interface. Why Carey Copy and Paste Frisch is posting this every day is
beyond comprehension, other than he wants to make sure everyone knows
what a dork he is.

Another damn fool heard from.

Clue to the witless: NOBODY controls Usenet newsgroups. It isn't
physically possible to even attempt it you clueless babbling baboon.

Why not to the technically ignorant (ie Microsoft fanboys)

BECAUSE when you post to ANY newsgroup in effect all you are doing is
sending the message to YOUR ISP or your third party Usenet provider
such as I use (Usenetserver.com) who keeps your post on THEIR news
server. Most all news servers "peer" with each other in effect
exchanging copies of the posts on their system for COPIES of posts
they don't presently have on other systems. The process is wholly
automated and for all practical purposes beyond human intervention.

So when some retard suggests Microsoft can censor posts or remove them
or in any way control or enforce "rules" on who posts what it is TOTAL
bullshit. All Microsoft could do if it wanted, which it don't would be
to censor/remove posts that originate on THEIR news servers having
ZERO effect on all the posts made to the thousands of other news
servers located all over the world that carry this and thousands of
other newsgroups.

Technically in the "old" days it was possible to originate a "cancel"
message which in theory would cancel posts on other news servers.
Because of the obvious abuse this could cause nearly every news server
administrator has set their news servers to automatically IGNORE all
cancel requests in effect rendering them meaningless if anyone is
still dumb enough to send one out.

It is also lunacy to suggest Microsoft as dumb as they are would
assign employees to monitor the hundreds of Microsoft newsgroups
they've created and purge posts not to their liking. It simply doesn't
happen. Period.

Now you know why anyone with even minimal technical knowledge of how
things work laughs their asses off over the crap the Microsoft fanboys
posts. They're just idiots, a fact that's been proven over and over
that don't even know how the system works.

If you don't like it exercise some self-control and don't read it.

You need to re-read the part where it says "about Microsoft products."
Did you get that part? ..."about Microsoft products."
Not about linux distros.
Got it? You do understand that you are a linux spamming troll don't you?

Please avoid
> personal attacks, slurs, and profanity in your interactions."

Did you read that part too? Remember, you are the instigator. You are
the one who attacks others family members. You do remember doing that
don't you? Or do you want me to re-post your personal vile attacks on my
family members, huh?
You are without a doubt the most arrogrant, selfish, vile POS for a
human being I've ever come accross.
You don't care about anyone except yourself.
Now try lying your way out of those truths.
Frank

Click on some of your posts. They no longer exist on the Microsoft
newsgroup. Microsoft does remove posts they don't like. Some of yours are
GONE and that is a Good Thing.
