Hi,
My Run and Search options have dissappeared from my start menu and the start
button in my browers does not work. I can not access my task manager either,
it says that it has been disabled by my administrator but this is not
possible.
What has gone wrong?

Hello Dan,

In Windows Vista, the Windows Features screen is blank.

imho .. I suspect malware.
I might suggest: 1: Avast! [free] 2: SuperAntispyware [free] 3: Spybot
Search and Destroy [free] 4: Dial-a-fix 0.60.0.24 [free]
regards
