I have a Vista Ultimate install wherein the RUN command mru list is never
saved.
The command runs just fine but there is NEVER a list on the drop-down menu.

Any suggestions for a cure will be appreciated.

Hi,

Right click the taskbar and choose properties. On the start menu tab there
is a section on privacy with options to store a list of recently opened
files. If these are not checked, the MRU lists will not be populated.

That's not checked on my setup and it still stores files that I've typed
into the run box. If you are deleting your history a lot under IE 7 then
that could be what the problem is. Could be other things as well, but when I
delete history under IE 7, it clears the run box drop down list.
