A program that I developped in former time
using turbo pascal 5.0 at DOS, can be run
at windows vista. It was running at
windows XP. But now I have the following error
message: This system does not support fullscreen mode.
Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

It is a simple and useful program and I want to run it
at it is and not expend time to change it to fit at Windows vista.

All the best

Hélio.

I believe it's a Vista video driver issue, not a Vista issue per se. I
bet this is a laptop - mine does the same thing.

There is no solution except to make your program able to run in a
window. A workaround would be to use a DOS emulator, such as DOSBox.
That will usually let you run a full-screen app in a window.

You can download the free Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 and install XP into
a virtual pc. You can then run your program.

Or better yet, if you can find someone who has Virtual PC 2004, you can
get the MSDOS Extensions for Virtual PC, and then install a virtual DOS
computer into Virtual PC 2007 (if you still have your old MSDOS disks).
Your program can then run in it's intended environment: MSDOS.

I have this same problem with an MS-DOS program that I use for brain injury
rehab. It won't work on my windows vista desktop or laptop, and I get the
same error.

I have a feeling that you're advertising your product in support newsgroup.
Shoo.
