Run to uncompress C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download files

I did a custom update (XP PRO). The result is directories and files in the
C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download directory. I can bring the
directories to a non-networked machines and run "update" to install them. I
do not know how
to uncompress the non-directory files, for instance,
ec2ef02fab14de77ab451803f0e8411d58676d58.
Any help greatly appreciated.
