Rundll32 error

I just installed a new Canon printer and every time i go to print an item the
error message windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working pops up.The
only time it will print is if there is something stored in the printer and i
restart it, it prints on the restart but then wont work after that, any
thoughts or suggestions? I have tried reinstalling the software and printer
to no avail.

You should be contacting Canon support with this, as they will be more
familiar with errors caused by their printing software.
