Running Outlook 2003 in Vista Home Premium

I am having difficulty downloading my email messages into Outlook. I receive
an error code: 'Unknown Error 0x80040154' I can send messages but cannot
receive. I had two other problems with this one Office 2003 application that
I was able to solve with web searches (a .dll error and a MAPI32 error).
Please help! Thank you.

Have you got the correct smpt server typed in?

And get Office 2003 Service Pack 3.

Is Service Pack 3 for Office 2003 installed?

In spite of running the compatibilty checker as well as thinking I was
receiving automatic updates I did manually download Service Pack 3. Voila.
Thank you gentlemen! The messages have successfully downloaded and boy, I
better get back to work now.
