Running Windows 7 migration wizard from Vista

When I run the Windows 7 migration wizard under Vista Business, I get:
"You're currently logged on using a temorary profile. Restart your computer
and try again." I don't think I am running under a temporary profile. I
don't get the standard error message regarding it when I login.

My system:

Windows Vista Business, x32, SP2
Corporate AD Domain

Any help would be appreciated.

Metro.

I get the same message in Vista Home Premium.

And it happens no matter which username I try. "Administrator" proper, the first admin account I created, and my regular account, even after I gave it admin rights.

The problem is that the Easy Transfer utility will not run if there are ANY temporary profiles on the machine. Essentially, this means that you have to go into the registry and delete or rename any profile that ends with .bak

The registry path is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

Hope this helps!
