Runtime Error: Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime

I get this message in a popup box. it also says something about it having to
shut down...and you hve to click OK - then it goes back to desktop page. I
am not very computer savvy - is there something that I can try that could
eliminate this stupid box?

Windows version? What are you doing when you get this error and how does it
related to Windows Update?

I walked away from the laptop for an hour or so, and when I came back, this
box was on the screen. Today is the first time that i rec;d that message.

If Google Toolbar is installed, uninstall it and see if the problem
persists.
