Runtime error

I have downloaded and installed the software from gametap and am getting a
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"

"Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Game Tap\bin\release\gametap.exe

R6025
-pure virtual function call"

What is this, and how do I correct it. Support at gametap doesn't show it. A
Google search doesn't give me much except the same problem unanswered.

Hi,

It's not an OS error, it's an error from the game file. If it's not in their
knowledge base, then you should contact their support directly. My guess is
that it's not Vista compatible and is trying to run with elevated
privileges. Right click the file and select "run as administrator". If this
works, then it means the software vendor needs to rewrite the application to
run from virtualized directories as is required in Vista.

Thanks for the input, but no joy. Tried the admin mode and tried changing
compatability. Nada. Works fine on XP desktop so I can live with that. Ain't
givin' up my VISTA.
