RWW when not connected to domain - inside & outside the office

I have installed a SBS 2008 Server. I ran the internet connection but my
client has an non-listed web site so I skipped DNS. I went to RWW and it
lists my domain for RWW as remote.companydomain.com. My internal domain is
companydomain.local. I have a SonicWall TZ100 as the firewall to the
Internet. I am using SBS 2008 as my DHCP server. All necessary ports are
open on both Firewalls (e.g., 80, 334, 3389, 987). I can connect on PCs that
are connected to the domain, but not with my laptop - even when I am on the
LAN - which of course leads to not being able to connect when I am away from
the client site. Can you assist me? I tried setting an additional DNS on my
network card that matches my DNS IP from my hosting company. Please help?

You need whoever is in charge of the DNS for companydomain.com to add an a
record for remote.companydomain.com

In my case, I have A records for remote.companydomain.com,
exchange.companydomain.com, and autodiscover.companydomain.com, all pointing
to the fixed IP of the office installation--which is set up as
companydomain.office (I was leery of using .local 'cause of the (now
outdated) Mac issue...)

The folks handling the web site should be able to do this for you quite
easily.

hopefully 334 is a is a dyslexic of port 443?

You say you can't connect your laptop to other PC's inside the Domain when
you laptop is not in the domain?
Assuming you are just using RDC to connect on the lan
are you typing in domain\username for the login?
(Doing this Internally and Externally)

If you are and you still have issues Please tell where you are getting
Stopped.
(What are you typing and what is the results)
