I need to allow users to access a server via RWW in 2008 SBS. How do I do
that? Currently uses can only access other workstations.

Hi:

I guess before I give you the bad news, I should ask why you need to do this?

the bad news.... the only way is to make them all domain administrators,
and then they can only connect two at a time for admin purposes. any other
use breaks the EULA, and the SBS is blocked from running applications in
multi user mode.

You could configure the server as a terminal server and aquire necessary TS
CAL licenses. Assuming for the moment that the other "server" is a Windows
Server 2003 or later and SBS domain joined.

The TS is a Windows 2000 and RWW is running on 2008 SBS. I currently cannot
make the 2008 a TS right now.

Not tried this with a 2000 TS but perhaps others have.

It appears that the technet article has the TS server show up for everyone.
I wish it could be like the workstations were I get to select which
computers can be listed per user.

I saw this blog, http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive...25/443383.aspx
regarding RWW for 2003 and it says, "If there is an additional Terminal
Server on the network running in Application Sharing Mode, and the logged on
user is a member of the TS Application Sharing group. Then the Remote Web
Workplace page will display a link to the secondary Terminal Server. The
credentials the user enters in the Connect as field will be used to
establish the session with the Terminal Server. The functionality will be
the same as the TS-to-client feature discussed in the previous section."
Where would I have a TS Application Sharing group?
