Safely Cleaning Out "SharingMetadata"

I've determined that the "SharingMetadata" folder on my machine takes up
about 3% of my available disk space. I've used WLM Synchronized Folders a
lot, but I'd figure that this data would get cleaned out before it takes up
so much space.

At the moment I have about 500 MB of stuff shared, but 1.37 GB of stuff in
the "SharingMetadata".

Is there something I can do to trigger a cleanup?
