In "Windows Vista"
When i click "safely remove hardware", This message appear "This device can
now be safely removed from the computer".
BUT, the device still Connected (Its led is still on)
for example: when i connect my MP4 it (the mp4) give me a message that it is
connected to the computer, when i make safely remove hardware, this message
still appear.

THIS ERROR IN WINDOWS VISTA, WHEN I PRESS SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE IN WINDOWS
XP, ITS LED BECAME OFF AND THE MP4 SEE THAT IT ISN'T CONNECTED TO THE
COMPUTER.

I don't know if it helps but I would like to know if my
tool works better here. It's a commandline tool for safe
removal, RemoveDrive:
http://www.uwe-sieber.de/files/removedrive.zip

It works with drive letters or device names.

Samples:
removedrive x:
removedrive "Corsair Flash Voyager"

Greetings from Germany
