Kris,
This is the third thread you have started with zero information. It is
almost impossible for anyone to help you unless you provide more information
about your system and what you have done with it. Also, when returning with
more information, you should make it a follow-up to one of your existing
threads, not start a new thread. It is no good starting a new thread and
saying "same as before information" - it makes no sense to anyone.
In response to your last thread, both Taurarian and myself asked you to try
certain things. Did you do them? What were the results? Please post the
reaults.
I'm going to assume that the error number you have given this time is a
typo, and it probably was 8007043B, not 80070438.
Will you please use regedit to check the data for this key value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\SvcHost\netsvcs
Details will vary from one system to another, but it should look something
like:
6to4

AudioSrv
Browser
CryptSvc
DMServer
DHCP
ERSvc
EventSystem
FastUserSwitchingCompatibility
HidServ
Ias
Iprip
Irmon

Wmi
WmdmPmSp
winmgmt

Please post EXACTLY what your registry has in this location. Please post as
a follow-up in this thread, not as a new thread.
