Same problem here !

Tried to install SP2 and got the Error Code: 800B0100
What can I do ?
Here is what it says in the Event Viewer.

Are you still using WUv4?

(MSKB Boolean search for:
signature AND "windows update"
)


If so you should make sure that you have installed

<title>KB842773 - Update package that includes Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) version 2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1 is
available for Windows XP</title>

and then switch to WUv5. You need WUv5 to use XPsp2.

Or, if you prefer, order the XPsp2 CD and install it offline.
