Same Update Notice every day !

I've continued to get the same notice, re #823559, every day for nearly 3
weeks. I've installed it 3 times. The update log shows SUCCESS every time
for each step.

Is there some way to stop this?

Hello Martin,
IF you have Windows XP, and you are getting repeated prompts for very same update-item,
then, use this MS article as a *template*.

Please post back here with results. If still no joy, do mention your version/edition of Windows, and attach a relevant extract from the update log.

Here is yesterday's log. Ran another installation today and it's a
duplicate; it also says success for all steps.
