Same update over&over-BUT it's installed!!!!

Every time I log on to windows update it tells me I have 2 critical updates.
So....I download them and they install. Successfully. Next time I go back to
windows update it tells me I still need the same 2 updates KB837009 and
KB828026. WHAT? I did have some problems initially updating (as I just
replaced my hard drive and had to play catch-up with years of update) some of
the same problems with ini files everyone else was having but all finally
went well..........Why Does it keep telling me to download these updates when
installation history shows they were successfully installed?
