Same update shows even when installed sucessfully

Actually this is the second time it happened.
Only this time I'm using Windows Update version 5.

Wanted to uninstall it but the remove button doesn't show at the add/remove
cpl.

Solved it last time by refering to a KB article but I can't find it anymore.

What can I do?

Since you haven't specified which update it is, go here and locate it :
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec...CurrentDL.aspx

Download it from the links supplied in the Security Bulletin page.
Save it to your HD and install it with IE closed and your AV program
temporarily disabled. REENABLE your AV after any required rebooting
and when the install is complete.
