Tries to install *which* update?
The code may indicate that the update is corrupt,
in which case doing a manual install might be better.
However, many people will suggest you just take the notification of driver
updates as a suggestion to go to the manufacturer's site and see if there
is a better driver there that you think you might need instead. Often
"validated" drivers available via AU are based on much older versions
