If you look in the ATI newsgroup alt.comp.periphs.videocards.ati, it's
better to avoid installing the driver from Windows Update and use the
driver from Sapphire or ATI.
I have a Sapphire 9800SE and I always use the Catalyst driver taken from
ATI; actually there is version 5.8 available.
