SATA Hard Drive Factory Full Capacity Restore - Vista 64Bit

Western Digital SATA Hard Drive - 640GB
Vista Home Premium - 64Bit
Gateway desktop.

Would someone know of any utility or method to restore a SATA hard
drive's factory full capacity size? During partitioning my drive, it
went from 595GB (640GB Drive) to only 32GB. Since it is a 64-Bit system,
I can't find a utility to restore the drive's full capacity.

Are you saying you only have one partition 32GB in size and no unused space
on the drive?

Already did. Called technical support, and was asked to download th
Acronis WD Edition. I tried, that did not work. I called again, we us
the same software and tried Vista's tool - no luck. Western Digita
could not fix their own hard drive. So now I am stuck until I find
utility that would do it. This ('HDDGURU: HDD Capacity Restore Tool
(http://hddguru.com/content/en/softwa...-Restore-Tool/)
is awesome, but it is for 32Bit (used it and it's great)

THATS CORRECT. No unused space to expand to. The BIOS and the tool
manager can only show 32GB and not the factory's 596GB.

Then I suggest that you try reformatting the drive and again creating a
primary partition and reinstall your OS.

The "Extend Volume" is not active - it is greyed since the drive onl
has/shows 32GB

http://www.hdat2.com/might do the job.

Otherwise, can you remove the drive and attach it to a 32-bit Windows
system to run HDDGuru on it?
