Save Identity Operation not successful, can't log in

I have googled, search Microsoft, and searched blogs and have found nothing
on this error. Any insight would be helpful. Here is the error I am getting
when attempting to login using Domain credentials after successfully joining
a domain.

---Error Message---
Windows Security
The save identity operation could not be successfully completed because the
number of available licenses has been exceeded
---End Error Message---

I don't believe we have exceeded the limit of 25 authenticated Vista PCs,
and we are not yet running KMS since there are only a few of us testing
Vista.

Another wierd note is that I was able to remove this system from the domain,
but the next morning I got the same error message, but this time when I tried
to login as a local Admin account. I restarted and then was able to log in
successfully.

Any ideas on this one?

I get the same error.
I am using Vista Ultimate (32) SP1 on my HP Pavilion laptop and when I
try to access any other user account (new or old either regular or
Admin) on my laptop. I finally stumbled onto the cause (at least on my
system) and the workaround.

The VeriSoft Access Manager software used by the fingerprint scanner
is preventing you from logging onto your PC with other identities.

*Solution/Work Around:*
·Right click on the VeriSoft Access Manager icon in the Icon tray
and open 'Settings and Options' in the popup menu

·Turn off 'Use VeriSoft to log on to Windows' under 'Select the way
users log on to Window'.

After doing this I can log onto as any of the other user accounts on
my laptop. If I re-enable the VeriSoft option (to use VeriSoft to log
on to Windows) the problem returns.
