Save Vista restore points to DVD

On a dual boot machine with Vista and XP, system restore in XP and un
Vista are restricted to their own partitions, respectively.
Nevertheless, after XP booted, Vista lost its restore points.
How can I save Vista RPs to a DVD? How can the Vista admin account
obtain the right to copy the RP files?

You can't. A System Restore point is not a self-contained unit that can be
moved. What you need is a boot manager that hides the XP and Vista
partitions from each other so they cannot see or access the other when
started.

A suggestion of John Barnett is to save RPs by "hiding" the Vista
partition from XP via TweakUI:

However, on my machine they vanish anyway. What do I have to do
