E-Mails stored on your ISPs server will not be deleted by deleting the
temporary files, cookies, etc. I delete all temporary internet files,
cookies etc every single day of the week and yet my thousands of emails
stored on Gmail are not affected - that is the whole idea of having a web
based email service.
You would be better contacting AOL on this one. It I doubtful that you would
be able to get them back because they probably use a secure deletion
program, but you can at least find out what has happened. The fault is at
AOL's end not yours.
