Saving History Immediately

So after losing my history (again) for windows open during a crash of the
application, I'm wondering if there is any way of forcing WLM to write
history files on message reciept, rather than all of it on window close.

It seems reasonable not to want to lose a whole day's worth of history
without closing your window every two minutes to force a flush to disk.
Trillian manages this fine (even though it crashed less often), so I've no
idea why WLM doesn't use the much safer method.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated!

Shak

Greetings,

The solution will be to get Messenger Plus Live when it releases, which automatically saves
your logs as you go (and there even more richer, storing emoticons et al).

There won't be any changes to how logging works within WLM. As always -- "maybe next
release".

Not really, it's all the bitmaps and overhead from DirectUI mainly.
