Hi, hope you can please help!

Here is my problem.

I cannot choose server management (it has the little yellow warning triangle with the exclamation point in it) i assume because my internet connection is not configured.

When i run the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard i get the following message: The IP address specified for the local IP address of router is not within the same address space (subnet) as the IP address and subnet mask specified for the network adapter. This will result in connectivity problems. Are you sure you want to use the specified IP address for the local IP address of router?

Below is my ipconfig

Windows IP Configuration

Host Name...wharf01
Primary DNS Suffix...thewharfcompany.com.au
Node Type...Hybrid
IP Routing Enables...No
WINS Proxy Enabled...No
DNS Suffix Search List...thewharfcompany.com.au
com.au

Ethernet adapter Server Local Area Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Sufficx...
Description...Embedded Broadcom NetXtreme 5721 PCI-E Gigabit NIC
Physical Address...00-17-08-58-A3-41
DHCP Enabled...No
IP Address...192.168.123.254
Subnet Mask...255.255.255.0
Default Gateway...192.168.123.254
DNS Servers...192.168.0.1
Primary WINS Server...10.0.1.4

Hope this is enough information for you to help me out.

Thanks in advance.

TL

The error message is completely accurate. You've got a totally bogus
networking configuration, and it can't fix it until you do some cleanup. If
you're using a single NIC configuration, as you appear to be, you need your
router (192.168.0.1??) to be the default gateway, your SBS server to have a
private, static, IP address on that same 192.168.0 subnet (perhaps
192.168.0.2), and your DNS server must ALWAYS be the SBS server. Your WINS
server will also be the SBS server.
