I ran a repair setup from DVD, which appeared to execute without any problem.
When I logged in on the console I was told that the product needed to be
activated.

I chose the yes option and was presented with a blank screen after an hour I
forced the machine to reboot and I was again asked to activate and then
presented with a blue screen.

The server seems to be running (kind of, Exchange hasn't processed any
maiil) as services are running and file server is available from a client
machine.

I have tried safe mode and DS repair modes without success.

So, in order fix the machine it appears that I need to log in and activate,
but as i'm unable to get past the acivate message I am stymied!

How can I activate this beast?
